Race Site: 12569 County Road 2803 Eustace, TX 75124
Course:
This is a loop course, two x 1.5 mile loops for all 5K races and one half mile loop + the 1.5 mile loop for the 2 mile races. The course is pure cross country, mostly grass terrain with some twists and turns and some ups and downs through the East Texas countryside.
Awards:
Individuals finishing in the top 10 will receive a medal at the *finish line* 1st place team will receive a plaque, pick up at the timing tent.
Timing/Entries:
Register on txmilesplit.com on the "calendar" tab.Scroll down and you'll see our meet options. Click the register tab to secure your spot.You can enter your athlete names by the deadline. 8 schools per race only. 6 school limit for middle schools. Deadline for entries is October 5th at 5pm.. We will use EXTRA MILE RACE TIMING, an automated timing system that will produce results quickly.
Team Limit: High School: 8 teams per race, max of 10 individuals for each school, MIddle School: 6 teams per race, max of 10 individuals per each school. Per UIL RULES
Results:
When your race is over, the coach should come over to the timing tent and scan the QR code for results. We want to avoid congregating so quick scan and you will have them. We will also send out an email with the link. If your school wins 1st place, please come pick up your plaque at the timing tent.
Spectators:
All spectators will have to wear masks and practice social distancing. When the race is over we will Not be able to congregate.
Bathrooms/Water:
3 porta potties at course.
When waiting in line for the bathroom, mask will be required and people need to stand 6ft apart. Please bring your own team water and hand sanitizer. All runners will be expected to wear their mask unless they are competing. These are the guidelines per the UIL.
Fees:
$75 for each division
$10 for individuals
Maximum fee $450 all 6 divisions
