• The course is made of grass, gravel, dirt, and pavement in a few areas.

• Course maps will be sent to you with this flyer.

• Please note that teams will need to provide their own water. Teams should bring their own water, Gatorade, snacks, ect.

• White painted Arrows will outline the entire 5K course. Blue paint Arrows will outline the 2 mile course.

• Rolling schedule will commence as soon as the last racer has finished or completed the race.

• We will also have music, announcements made, along with surprise guests from local specialized running companies with gear for purchase. (Donations are encouraged)

Directions/Parking:

• Parking for buses and team vans will be located in the furthest parking lot to the east of the park. (I will have a sign placed for bus and van parking)

• Public parking will be located in the closest parking lot to the west side of the park. (I will have a sign placed for public parking)

• Directions map and parking map will be included with this packet.

Coaches Meeting:

• Coaches meeting will be held at 7:30 Am for packet pick-up, to discuss the course, take any runners out that will not be running and collection of meet entry fees.

• All check entry fees can be mailed to:

• Or they can be brought to the meet for collection.

Medical/Training Staff:

• There will be an ambulance on site for any and all emergencies.

• Our school nurse Stephanie Reyes will be at the finish line for ice, provide water, and any injury assistance with your athletes that may occur.

Awards:

• Top 10 of each race will be given medals (DI, DII, JH) Boys and Girls.

• Team Plaques for first (1st) and second (2nd) place teams will be given to Division I Boys and Girls. 

Packet Pick-up: 

• Packet pick-up will be at the finish line.

• Packet pick-up can be done as soon as you arrive.

Entry Information:

• Entry fee will be collected at the coaches meeting total$10 per runner, $15 per unattached runner. Unlimited entrees per-team for the meet in each division.

• Entry deadline will be August 31st, 2023 @ midnight.

• Entries will be done electronically via TXMile Split website. Registration closes Thursday August 31st, 2023 @ midnight. (If you cannot access the website let me know and I will add you in.)

Meet Extras:

• West Texas Kona Ice will be at the meet serving Ice Cream for sale.

• M&M Coffee Shop and Grub travel truck will be serving breakfast food at the meet for sale.
