Cross Country Entries & District Meet Information
Course: Waxahachie Sports Complex
This years race will be contested at Waxahachie Sports Complex in Waxahachie Wednesday Oct 5th. The address is 151 Broadhead Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
ENTRY DEADLINE
All entries MUST be posted online in Txmilesplit.com by 6:00 pm CST on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Txmilesplit.com will open for entries on September 7, 2022 at 8:00am.
Coaches must submit entries on Texas MileSplit (www.tx.milesplit.com). If you do not have an account, you will have to create one in order to input entries.
No faxed or emailed entries will be accepted. No exceptions. Each school is responsible for seeing that all entries are in on time (boy/girls).
We are asking that each school provide at least TWO workers.
Please complete the District Cross Country Entry Form confirmation of all varsity entries at least five days prior to October 5th. UIL Entry forms are available online using the following link https://www.uiltexas.org/files/athletics/cc_entry_form.pdf. Email forms to nikki.foster@aplus-cs.org.
You are allowed to enter up to 10 athletes for the varsity races.
You must declare only up to 7 athletes to actually compete in each of the varsity races.
The additional varsity entries (if any) should run JV races.
There are no entry fees for the district meet.
All races will be timed by appointed coaches with a stopwatch just as last year.

3A Varsity Girls, JV Girls, Middle School Girls and Boys: 2 miles
3A Varsity Boys, JV Boys: 3.1 miles
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will be held at the registration tent. Medals will be given to the Top 10 individual finishers in each of the JV and Varsity divisions, medals to the team members of the first three teams in the varsity divisions, and team trophies will be given to the winning teams in each of the JV and varsity divisions.
