CRANE GOLF COURSE

THERE WILL BE SHIRTS, FOOD TRUCKS, A DRUMLINE, ETC!

ENTRIES

THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES TO ENTRIES ONCE THEY HAVE CLOSED ON 8/27/24

**TEAMS THAT ARE REGISTERED BY 8/1 WILL BE ON THE BACK OF THE SHIRT. ANYONE REGISTERING AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT DUE TO TIME SENSITIVE ORDERING. 

ENTRY FEES

$10/RUNNER. YOU WILL PAY FOR THE NUMBER OF KIDS REGISTERED, NOT FOR THE NUMBER THAT ACTUALLY RUN ON RACE DAY. NO REFUNDS. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO CRANE ISD AND BRING THEM THE DAY OF THE MEET.

PARKING

AS YOU ARRIVE AT THE GOLF COURSE, THE BUSSES WILL PARK IN THE BIG PARKING LOT TO THE LEFT. SPECTATOR PARKING WILL BE JUST BEYOND THAT. WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PARK ALONG THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS THE PARKING LOT WILL ACCOMODATE FOR ALL PARKING.

TEAM CAMPS

THERE ARE MANY AREAS TO SET UP TEAM CAMPS. THE BEST PLACE IS NEXT TO THE CART SHEDS. PLEASE DO NOT SET UP TEAM CAMPS ON THE GREENS OR UNDER TREES - THERE COULD BE SNAKES. WE ALSO ASK THAT YOU TELL PARENTS TO STAY OFF THE GREENS. IF WE DO NOT, THERE IS A CHANCE THAT WE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO HOST MEETS AT THE COURSE. PLEASE HELP US RESPECT THE GOLF COURSE. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT A GREEN IS, PLEASE ASK.

RESTROOMS

MCNEESE TRUCKING HAS PROVIDED US WITH VERY CLEAN PORT-O-POTTIES THAT WILL BE LOCATED NEXT TO THE CLUB HOUSE. WE ASK THAT TEAMS USE THESE AND HELP KEEP THEM CLEAN AS WELL.

TRAINER

WE WILL HAVE A TRAINER ON SITE! IN ADDITION, WE WILL ALSO HAVE A COOLING STATION PER UIL GUIDELINES.

PACKET PICK UP

PACKET PICKUP WILL BE NEAR THE FINISH LINE AT THE CRANE TENT. 

COURSE MAPS

PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR A COPY OF THE COURSE MAP. ALSO BE SURE TO SHOW THEM TO YOUR KIDS PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE MEET AND THAT THEY UNDERSTAND WHAT COLOR OF FLAGS CORRESPOND WITH THEIR COURSE LENGTH. THE COURSE STARTS AND ENDS ON THE ****GRASS.**** 

WE WILL HAVE A LEAD CART, FINISH CART, AND SEVERAL HELPERS ALONG THE COURSE ENSURING THAT RUNNERS STAY ON THE CORRECT PATH.

9:30AM DIVISION I GIRLS 5K (DON'T BE AFRAID TO LET YOUR SMALL SCHOOL GIRLS GIVE IT A TRY!)

10:00AM DIVISION II BOYS 5K (JV)

10:30AM DIVISION II GIRLS 2 MILE

11:00AM MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS 2 MILE

11:30AM MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS 2 MILE

TOP 20 MEDALS IN EACH RACE. WILL BE AWARDED AT THE FINISH LINE.

TEAM PLAQUES TO THE 1ST AND 2ND PLACE TEAM PER DIVISION.

PLAQUES CAN BE PICKED UP NEAR THE FINISH LINE AFTER RESULTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
