Dear Coach,
I hope that all is going well and that you and your athletes are having an exciting track season. I know this is early, but I wanted to get this information out to you and invite your program to our home cross country meets.
On Friday, August 9th 2025 we will be hosting the Dawson Short Course and we would like your teams to participate. This meet will be limited to about 20 teams for each day and will feature a 2 mile course for your teams to participate in. All divisions will run 2 miles. We filled up early, so let me know if you plan on attending this year so I can get you on the list.
All races will feature a flat/fast course and will be a great opportunity to run a decent time early in the season. If you are interested in participating, please send me an e-mail and let me know.
Awards: Will be awarded to the first 15 finishers in the all divisions except the open race, no awards will be given. Plaques will be awarded to the first place team in each division.
Results: Results will be compiled and sent to you and will be posted on www.runhoustontiming.net.

Entry Fee: $120.00 per boys program and $120.00 per girls program, to be mailed in advance or to be paid upon arrival to the meet.
Course: All grass, flat, very fast with great footing and is extremely spectator-friendly. The meet will take place at Pearland Dawson High School
Packet Pick-Up: Will be located near the finish line.
Parking: Bus parking will be in the lot between the track and tennis courts. Buses please park closer to the tennis courts. The other half of the lot will be used for spectators.

10:15 AM - Freshman Boys
