Meet Information
You and your teams are invited to the 15th Annual McKinney Boyd Bronco Stampede. We have several different divisions to compete in on one of the best cross country courses in the North Texas area (Myers Park). The race will again be chip timed by Compton Time and Measure for all divisions. Please consider us as you are working on your 2025 schedule.
UIL PARTICIPANT SCHOOLS OR PUBLIC SCHOOLS ONLY. No unattached athletes.
MEET FLYER WITH SCHEDULE AND PAYMENT INFO
We are limiting to the first 40 high school teams and first 20 middle school teams.
SCHEDULE
Jennifer Peirson Elite High School Divisions:
7:15--Varsity Elite Boys (5K--limit 10)--Standard = 20:00
7:20--Varsity Elite Girls (5K--limit 10)--Standard = 25:00
Open High School Divisions:
7:45--Varsity Boys Open (5K--limit 15)--Standard = 25:00
7:50--Varsity Girls Open (5K--limit 15)--Standard = 30:00
8:20--JV Open Boys (5K--unlimited)
8:25--JV Open Girls (5K--unlimited)
Middle School Divisions:
10:00--8th Grade Boys (1.5 miles)
10:05--8th Grade Girls (1.5 miles)
10:25--7th Grade Boys (1.5 miles)
10:30--7th Grade Girls (1.5 miles)
**Please NOTE the overlap of races. We will start each girls race approx 5 mins after the start of the boys race in that respective division. Inevitably, there is some overlap, but please see our standards to help place your kids in the correct division. We want to start each division ON TIME and prevent as much overlap as possible!
CHECK-IN:
All coaches will pick up bibs and other registration materials at the RED tent near the finish line. Breakfast items will be provided for coaches and volunteers. Please bring your entry fee check if you have NOT already submitted. See the W9 linked above for payment. If you have any adds or changes, please utilize the QR codes provide by Compton Time and Measure. Please keep this to a minimum if at all possible. WE WILL NOT REGISTER AN ENTIRE TEAM ON MEET DAY!!!
BOXES:
There will be boxes drawn, but NO box assignments. The starting line is wide, so plenty of room for everyone. Please only use one box per team.
AWARDS:
Trophy to the winning team in each division.
Medals to the top 15 individuals in each division. Gold to 1st place, Silver to 2nd place, Bronze to 3rd-15th
WATER:
Will have a limited supply of water bottles at the end of each race. Please bring your own water for your teams!
PARKING:
BUSES: All buses will enter the first parking lot off of County Road 168. Follow the direction of volunteers at this point to drop off and then park bus in the South parking lot.
SPECTATORS: All spectators will enter the second parking lot off of County Road 168. Please follow directions from parking lot volunteers and McKinney PD officers. Remind your parents to arrive EARLY to prevent parking congestion. ALL spectator parking is at the top of the hill near mile marker 2; parents will need to walk down to the start/finish line.

BAD WEATHER AND IMMEDIATE COMMUNICATIONS:

FIRST AID/TRAINERS:
We will have 3 athletic trainers on site. Their location will be near the start/finish line. It will be a blue tent and marked well. All station volunteers will have radios to communicate with our trainers in the event an athlete needs assistance.
KONA ICE:
Kona Ice will be on site and serving up snow cones. Please advertise to your teams.
RESULTS:
