Country Coaches:
This year the 22nd Annual
Poth High School and Jr. High Cross Country Meet will be held on September 6th,
2025 at the Poth City Park, also know to be the baseball fields (Address:
801 Coy, Poth, TX
78147). The course will be approximately 3 miles for high school boys (Varsity
& JV) and 2 miles for all other divisions.
The entry fee will be $100 per Varsity team, $50 per JV division, $50 per Jr. High division
(each grade level division) and $10 for individual runners. Please make checks payable to Poth
Athletic Booster Club. There is a
limit of 7 runners per Varsity division.
All other divisions are unlimited. The top 15 individuals in each varsity
division and the top 15 in all other divisions will receive a medal and the
winning team in each division will receive a championship plaque and team
medals.

Schedule: 8:00 am Varsity Girls (2 miles) $100
8:30 am Varsity Boys (@3 miles) $100
9:00 am JV Girls

10:00 am 8th Grade Girls & Boys (2 miles) $100

A 7th grader can run up with the 8th grade to make a
team, however 8th graders cannot run down in the 7th
grade division. JH girls and boys will finish in separate chutes at the finish.
* Registration closes at midnight on
Thursday before the meet.
*The
starting area is in an open field walking distance from the finish line.
Athletes will need to prepare for heading to the start in advance. Also, there
are no restrooms at the starting line.
