2026 FASC Ferris HS Bricktown Invitational

Coaches,

Thank you for being a part of our 2026 FASC Ferris HS Bricktown Invitational hosted on March 5th, 2026 starting at 9am. We are very excited about hosting this year's meet.

Entries: Jira Timing will be handling the entries. Details will be sent out closer to the date.

ENTRY FEES: The cost for each division will be $200.00. All 4 divisions will be $800.00.

Scratch Meeting 8:15AM - in the Aux gym: The gym can be accessed through the tennis courts. This will be for scratches only please do not add competitors.

BUS PARKING- Park behind the home stands by Baseball/Softball Fields (In back of Junior High- very first right as you come up to the junior high from I-45-don't pass the school). School starts at the Jr. High at 7:50 am and parents drop off in the same parking lot.

CAMPS: Please set up all camps in the Visitor Stands or the Tennis courts. The turf field is for warm up only - NO CAMPS SET UP ON THE TURF FIELD.

FOOD OR DRINK: Please no food, drinks, gum, or sunflower seeds on the field. (Turf). Concession stands will be open and available during the meet and meal deals will be available to all athletes.

HOSPITALITY ROOM: There will be a hospitality room for all participating coaches which will also be held in the Aux gym accessed through the tennis courts or garage on the backside of the building. Please email Monica Lemonmlemon01@ferrisisd.org the number of coaches that you will be in attendance by March 2nd, 2026 and any dietary restrictions if any so we can ensure we have plenty available for each coach.

FIELD EVENTS: The field events will start at 9:00A.M.

VERTICAL JUMPS:

Tentative starting heights- we can discuss further at the coaches meeting

High Jump - JV Boys - 5', Varsity Boys - 5'5", JV/V Girls -4'4"

Pole Vault - Boys opening height is 7'5" Girls opening height is 6'5".

Depending on the amount of entries, Boys are combined and Girls are combined for all Vertical Jumps except for Boys HJ. You may enter at any time. *We can discuss the heights and combining in the scratch meeting.

HORIZONTAL JUMPS AND THROWS: JV contestants will be allowed a total of 3 throws/ jumps. In JV throwing events throw's will be staked and only the furthest throw will be measured; Varsity contestants will be allowed to have 4 total throws/jumps and all will be measured.

RUNNING: 3200 Meter Run will be at 10am.

The 3200/800/1600 will likely be combined V/JV but this will depend on the number of entries. All other running will start at 3:00 pm.

TIMING: MidWest Timing will be our timer for this event. Please indicate to your athletes that all running events are finals. The top 3 places will receive their respective medals.

RESULTS/AWARDS: Will be given at the conclusion of the meet. There will be Trophies for 1st place in each division, along with plaques or batons for fastest 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 each division. Please go to the press box and collect the awards at the end of the meet. When all results are complete, they will be made available through Milesplit.com.

8:00 Track will open for warm-ups

8:15  Coaches/Scratch Meeting Aux Gym (Scratches only)

8:15 Field Event Venues will open for warm-ups

9:00 Round 1 of Field Events

10:00 3200M Run (JV Girls, Varsity Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Boys)

12:00 (After completion of 3200s, track will be open for relay practice)



2:00pm Track will close, and infield cleared to begin preparation for running finals

Athletes will be allowed on infield to complete warm-ups once the first call is made for their

event. All other warm-ups will take place in their respective areas, weather permitting.
