Dear Coach,

The Eastland Cross Country teams would like to invite you to a 4 runner, 6 Mile Relay (4 X 1.5 MILES) at the former Lone Cedar Country Club on Friday, August 7, 2026.This is an exciting format that will help your athletes get ready for the 2026 season. A great early season time trial event as schools will battle for an overall winner brass bell. Simply put, each team entered will have the opportunity to contribute to their schools chance of winning which will encourage team camaraderie regardless of each runners individual success or division.

Varsity Girls @ 7:30/Varsity Boys/JV Girls/JV Boys

An engraved Champion School brass bell will be given to the school who achieves the fewest points by placement of teams.. We will also award medals to each member of the team finishing in the top three per division.  Champion team gets to take a plunge in the lake.  Bring gear for changing after.  Swim at your own risk.
Points will be awarded to teams by placement of finish per team(minimum of two teams per division to count towards the Bell award.) There is no limit to the amount of teams per division, and all teams regardless of gender or division scoring points, will contribute to their schools total.  The school with the fewest points, wins the Bell.

Entries will be done online using TX.MILESPLIT

We encourage complete teams but for any team short of four athletes, the athletes will run the first leg of the race (no double racing to fill in team).  We will try to fill teams to four and the points will be split between teams represented by the various schools as possible.  Coach will record their individual's time if we cannot complete a four person team. Please have entries done by 12:00 pm on Tuesday 8/3/26

Entry fee is $50 per 4 person team with a $ Max fee of $500 per high school (boys and girls) regardless of division. Entry fees are due at meet registration on, Friday August 9th
