COACHES UPDATE!!! (8/24)
Please review changes. We are adjusting the race schedule for an earlier start (6:50am), and will have a rolling start once the last runner hits the 2m mark on the course. We are doing this to help protect kids from the heat as best as possible. Please make adjustments as needed to fit the appropriate race for your athletes.
***We have added an Open JV 5k to help split our numbers.

PARKING:
NO BUS PARKING on-site...
ALL BUSES must drive over to Denton H.S. for parking.

We will have shuttles available to bring coaches from Denton High to the park starting at 5:30am.

* Formerly known as the Marcus I Invitational.
We will have several divisions to compete in.
Races will feature chip timing by Compton Time and Measure.

Tentative Race Schedule:
6:00 am Coaches Check - in and packet pick-up Race Schedule:
6:50 am Start (rolling schedule - we will not start the next race until the last runner of the previous race has hit the levee)
- Race 1: GIRLS ELITE VARSITY - max 10 runners (5K)
- Race 2: BOYS ELITE VARSITY - max 10 runners (5K)
- Race 3: GIRLS OPEN VARSITY - max 15 runners (5K)
- Race 4: BOYS OPEN VARSITY - max 15 runners (5K)
- Race 5: GIRLS ELITE JV (5K) max 20 (Cut-off time 28 min.)
- Race 6: BOYS ELITE JV (5K) max 20 (Cut-off time 25 min.)
- Race 7: GIRLS OPEN 5k (5K) unlimited
- Race 8: BOYS OPEN 5K (5K)unlimited
- Race 9: OPEN 3200 (Both Gender) (2m) unlimited /Stagger boys then girls (2min after)
** Coaches if you have 20 or more JV runners please split them evenly between the JV Elite and JV Open races** - Thanks for your cooperation in this as it will help balance those races out more evenly. ** NO UNATTACHED PARTICIPANTS. This is a UIL event - must representa school.**

There will be no Concessions this year.

FEES:
Girls Team: $175 per division
Boys Team: $175 per division
Individuals: $25
*If you run teams in 4 or more divisions the maximum fee per school will cap at $650.
