2026 Baron Season Opener Cross-Country Meet
Date: Saturday August 22, 2026
Location: Saint Mary's Hall Lewis

EVENTS & START TIMES:
(2-mile Race)
VARISTY GIRLS - 9:00AM (2-mile
course)
VARISTY BOYS - 9:45AM (2-mile
course)
ENTRY FEE: $75 per Varsity Division Team (No Per Athlete Fee) Make checks
payable to SMH Athletics Department, checks may be mailed (address above) or
hand-carried to the meet send email to Meet Director if needing a W9.
AWARDS: Medal to Top 20 finishers per Division awarded at finish line.
COURSE: Will be all on the campus; surfaces will be a mixture of paved,
grass areas, with some steep rocky terrain; finish line will be on the Lewis
Field track
REGISTRATION:
- TXMilesplit by 12:00PM CST
August 19, 2025 (BY INVITATION ONLY/request invites through TXMilesplit)
- No more than 15 athletes registered
per division per team (more than 15 can be added if there is room but will not
receive a bid)
TIMELINE:
7:30- 8:15AM - Teams arrive on
campus (Set up camp around Lewis Field)
8:10 - 8:30AM - Registration
packet pick-up at the Lewis Field Press Box
8:15 - 8:50AM - Teams are
permitted to walk/jog the course. (Course closes at 8:50AM)
9:00AM - Start of Varsity Girls
Race on Field #2 (Baseball field)
9:45AM - Start of Varsity Boys
Race on Field #2 (Baseball field)
