SCHEDULE:

  • 8:00 AM - Varsity Girls 5K
  • 8:30 AM - Varsity Boys 5K
  • 9:00 AM - JV Girls & Senior Girls running with JV
  • 9:30 AM - JV Boys 5k & Senior Boys running with JV
  • 10:00 AM - 9th Grade Girls 5K
  • 10:30 AM - 9th Grade Boys 5K

Participation Entries:

    • Coaches may list ten (10) competitors in the Varsity division.
    • All participation entries must be entered on Milesplit.
    • Entries are due no later than Monday, October 12th at 11:59 PM.
    • Meet Timing will be done by ATX Timing.

    Varsity Declaration:  

    • Coaches may list ten (10) competitors in the Varsity division.
    • Cross Country Entry Form
    • All declaration pages must be emailed to Jordan_Gesch@roundrockisd.org no later than Wednesday, Oct. 7th at 5 PM.
    • Seven (7) competitors will be declared at the coaches meeting at 7:30 AM on the day of the meet. 

    Coaches Meeting:

    • 7:30 AM at the pavilion
    • Team boxes will be drawn randomly at this time.
    • Seven (7) competitors will be declared by 7:30 AM the day of the meet and turned in to Jordan Gesch.

    • All participants will be assigned a bib number. Bibs will be picked up from ATX Timing.
    • Varsity participants will follow all UIL rules and regulations regarding jewelry, uniforms, head gear and competitive conduct. The cross country plan can be found here and on the UIL website. 
    • As a reminder athletes cannot wear smartwatches during their race.
    • Bicycles and any non-official vehicles are strictly prohibited from the course and surrounding areas.
    • Seniors not running varsity should be entered in the division titled Seniors Running JV. These seniors will have a bib number with a timing chip, and will receive an official time. They will run with the other JV athletes, but will not score individually or contribute to the team score.
    • JV Participants will be allowed to wear varying styles of uniforms to occur within a school team; however, they must adhere to all other UIL regulations.  Unlimited participants allowed, but only one team of 5 runners will score for each school.
