Houston Indoor Invitational 2011

There were several nice performances by the Rice women's track and field team at the Houston Indoor Invitational Friday at Yeoman Fieldhouse. Most notably was Ari Ince winning the pole vault and Tina Robinson capturing the weight throw competition in school-record fashion. Results

Rice distance runners placed second in four events during Saturday's action at the Houston Indoor Invitational at Yeoman Fieldhouse.

Rice Owl distance runner, Michael Trejo placed second in the 3000m at the Houston Indoor Invitational Saturday at Yeoman Fieldhouse. Trejo posted a time of 8:27.81, while, sophomore Gabe Cuadra was sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:38.02.

The University of Houston track and field team completed the second and final day of the Houston Indoor Invitational and Multi Events. The men won the meet's final event with a 3:14.48 time in the 4x400m relay.Results PDF Results
