They do it again. Yep, I'm talking about one and only Elizabeth Reneau, and the ladies from the DUA - Dallas Ursuline Academy.
They've been dominating cross country throughout the state all season and it all culminated yesterday at the TAPPS 6A Girls state championships.
Reneau won her fourth straight TAPPS state cross country individual title as she pretty much ran a solo 11:19.6 to capture this year's crown. Renea jetted to the lead from the very beginning and left no doubts as she increased her lead throughout the race.
Ursuline Academy, who won the 2016 title came back to win again in 2017 with a very impressive 40 point win and a 12:21 team average. Their win was almost just as dominant as Reneau's was as they placed three girls in the top ten and the #4 girl placed just outside of the top ten as she came in 11th.
Reneau, will no doubt run again in either or both the Nike Cross Nationals South Regional or the Foot Locker South Regional. If we are lucky, we might get to see Ursuline Academy do the same.
