2A Boys 110-meter hurdles

Jkoby Williams can move. It became apparent after the Beckville senior won state both last season and in 2022.

He further proved his case as one of the top hurdlers in the state after securing the three-peat with a winning time of 14.19.

Coming in with the fastest time from regionals, two-time state medalist Adam Hill was looking to challenge Williams but was disqualified.

After missing the podium by a few spots last season, Stockdale junior Camden Derricoatte bounced back with a strong finish to take the runner-up spot with a time of 14.71.

JT Reagan out of Garrison made the most of his first state meet. The freshman took third with a time of 14.90, just .01 seconds in front of fourth.

2A Boys 300-meter hurdles

Adam Hill came out with a vengeance in the 300-meter hurdles. A slight setback, stemmed from a disqualification in the 100-meter hurdles, led to an even greater comeback.

The Albany senior left nothing to chance and wasted no time taking a lead out of the gate. He was challenged by Michael McCloy around the curve but maintained a comfortable lead down the final stretch to win with a time of 38.05 to defend his state title in the event.

McCloy, the senior from Gruver, turned in the fastest time from the regional meet and showed that same speed with a second place finish and time of 38.90.

Sonora's Kasey Lux hung onto the final podium spot with a time of 39.48 behind a strong finish through the final hurdles.
