RELAYS
If you can count on one thing, it is for atleast one Texas team to be in the mix for a relay title. On the girls side, NTC Elite and McKinney Track will both provide the Texas challenge. NTC Elite won the A&M 4x400 title with a blazing 3:46.31. If you have any clue of what went on last year in Texas then you absolutely know how McKinney North does things. No race is safe with them around. Look for those two teams to represent Texas in the 4x400 relay.
The Wings 4x800 after winning at Texas A&M
On the boys side, A&M was The Wings show. The Wings won a very competitive and fast 4x800 relay with their 7:55.52, in which they led four teams to break the 8:00 mark. In the 4x400 relay, Ft Bend Marshall took the A&M race with their entertaining, crazy, and historic 3:16.20 run, but The Wings were present in that race as well. Overall, they were DQ'ed, but not until after they crossed the line in 3:15.49. Arkansas should see The Wings be a challengers in both relays.
