Mad McLellan took control early in the race and ran away with an impressive 17:59 5k. #1 Ranked The Woodlands averaged 18:50 easily winning over #5 Seven Lakes. The Woodlands girls put an amazing 5 in the top 11. Jordan Welborn (Lumberton) had a break out race placing 6th overall.

This was a very competitive race from the beginning. Frank Lara (Houston Strake Jesuit) pulled away late over a game Brad Dohner (Klein Oak) 15:19 to 15:21. #1 The Woodlands won the team race averaging a solid 16:09 over #8 Houston Strake Jesuit who averaged 16:15.
