Super Soph Paige Hofstad used great race strategy to win the 5A girls race in 17:36. She led her New Braunfels team to a 2nd place finish. Paige and FR sensation Julie Heymach. Both girls ran step for step until they hit the levy. Paige slowly started to pull away in the last 800m.
FR Julia Heymach from Manvel. She flew under the radar for most of the year running at small meets but she came up big today.
Devin Clark from Smithson Valley has been going head to head with Paige all season. She was a close 3rd today.
