On paper this race looks to be a very close competition with 7 runners all within 6 seconds of each other. If you look at the season as an whole the clear favorite is Keller SR Austen Dalquist. Austen comes in with a season best of 9:00.49 which he ran at Jesuit Sheaner. Chris Meyers comes in with the fastest time in the Regional Meet. This race is hard to predict because a lot of these athaltes have not competed head to head except for at the Regional Meet. Keep an eye on Alex Rogers and Connor Meaux as they will compete for a medal also.
