Desiree Freier - Justin Northwest '14
It was a special birthday for the Justin Northwest graduate. Freier, already the American Junior Record holder, engraved her name deeper in the record book, clearing 14-7 to increase the top junior mark in American history. The future Razorback collected a silver medal, the first for team USA in the event, finishing second to Russia’s Alena Lutkovskaya. Freier now sits 30th in the world for the event.
Raevyn Rogers - Kinkaid School '14
Raevyn Rogers ended her phenomenal high school career with at the World Junior Championships with a 22nd place finish in the prelims (6th in her heat). Though this wasn't the race she had hoped for, Rogers has a bright future ahead of her at Oregon University. Rogers graduates with a best 800m time of 2:03.32, one of the top times in the country.
