#20: Plano West

The Plano West girls come in at number 20 on our XC rankings. They are one of the big names on the list for a few reasons. They did not run at districts last year, ending their season with a fourth place finish at their regional meet. However, our rankings favor team times based on the girl's PR. It is for this reason that Plano West makes it on the list, and at a solid spot on the list too. Their seven returners from last year have the speed, with five of their top seven girls within seven seconds of each other, and their top three within two seconds of each other. They race in packs. If all the girls can collectively work together in a race and run well, this team can do a lot of damage.
