Carter Blunt (Frisco Independence High School - 2016)
The senior kicked of his season with wins at both the Frisco ISD Invitational and Marcus I. After that he did not run a race until districts. He dominated both his district, and region meet. Then again at state he had no problem dominating the class 5A field for his third straight cross country state title and his 7th overall. His fastest time this season was 15 flat which he ran to win Marcus I. Injury cut short the seniors post season goals, but he is still no doubt one of the best cross country runners in the state. We wish him the best of luck in the recovery process.
