This weekend didn't disappoint with plenty of big races and exciting comebacks! One race that stood out imparticular was the girls DMR at the Bubba Fife Relays. Coming into the final leg Houston Memorial was sitting in third with almost a 100m gap between them and first place team (Katy). The anchor leg from Memorial was Khayla Patel. Running the 1600m, she slowly bided her time closing the gap with each step. It wasn't until the final home stretch when she finally caught the runner from Katy to give Memorial the win.
