We will be on site this year for the 2016 Greenhill Luke's Locker Relay with full, race video, interview, social, and interview coverage! Check out some information on this year's meet below:
BUS DROP OFF AND TEAM TENT AREA -- Police will be directing all buses to drop their athletes off along the Buckner access road on the western side of Norbuck Park. Buses will then park across Northwest Highway on Flag Pole Hill. Team tents will be in the grassy area between the bus drop off and the parking lot. No team tents will be allowed on the eastern side of the parking lot.
WATER -- The weather will likely be humid and we will provide water for runners, but please do bring your own water, too.
INCLEMENT WEATHER -- In case of lightning, I will be working with our sports medicine and emergency personnel to monitor conditions. Hopefully the predicted thunderstorms will come later on Saturday afternoon. I will communicate to all coaches via e-mail if there are any weather related delays.
SALE ITEMS -- Luke's Locker and Saucony, our amazing meet sponsors, will have merchandise (shoes, gear, etc.) on sale at the race site. In addition, we will be selling high tech meet shirts for $18 and cotton t-shirts for $10.
COMMUNITY RACE -- As communicated in an earlier e-mail, we have an open 3 mile race starting at 7 am. It is free and open to anyone so long as they sign a waiver at the Luke's Locker registration area. The course is a 2 loop course on the very 1.5 mile loop for the relay. Please spread the word about this to your families.
RESULTS -- You will receive an e-mail with all relay results by 2 pm on Saturday. In addition, all results will be posted on www.tx.milesplit.com.
