We will be on site for the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islander Splash Invitational. There are going to be over 100 teams at the meet and it should be a good one! Not only will there be a lot, but there are going to be a variety of teams at this meet. Teams from Central Texas all of the way downt to the Valley will all be present.
On the Girls side, look out for a couple of State ranked teams throwing down. Houston St. Agnes,San Antonio Antonian, and CorpusChisti Incarnate Word are all top 10 ranked Private Schools who will be at this meet. Throw in San Saba (2A), Port Aransas (2A), Bandera (4A) and Dripping Springs (5A) who are all ranked in the top 10 in their classes.
The Girls individual races will also provide some exciting races. Helen Roddy of Cedar Park Vista Ridge, Briana Robles of La Joya Palmview, and Beth Ramos of Edingburg North should provide a dandy race, with all three ladies with season bests times under 18:20 and only separated by four seconds.
