Why: LULING!!! Already tied for the most consecutive UIL State Championships by one program, Luling is going for the record. They have been running with the 4A - 6A schools all season and placing high all season. They are led by their strong top three of Buster Roberts, Isaac Castillo, and Peyton Roberts. Things don't stop there. Their supporting cast is very talented and they should ensure the record. Keep an eye on Dilley and Vanderbilt Industrial as they should definitely challenge.

Region 4 is perhaps the toughest 4A Region in the State. As stated above, Buster Roberts and Peyton Roberts help to lead the Luling train.  They do so, by being individual forces to deal with.  At State, last year, Buster finished second and Peyton finished sixth. It doesn't stop there. Also finishing in the top ten from the region was Kevin Baez. Finishing just outside of the Top 10 was Isaac Castillo, Landon Duplesis, and Ryan Trahan. These guys will definitely lock up again at State, but prior to that they will go head to head, on Saturday.
