Accolades: Sam Worley has been a Texas distance stud since he was a sophomore when he finished 3rd in both the 3200m and 1600m at the state track meet. Last year as a junior he bettered each of those places running 4:04 in the 1600m to take the win at state and 8:51.44 in the 3200m to finish 2nd. Last year in XC he finished 6th in the South Region to make it to NXN where he finished 75th.
