Entry Procedures: Entry deadline is Monday, March 6, 2017 @ 5:00 PM
KISD will be using the TrackMate 6.72 computer program for the 2017 Katy Home of Champions Classic. All participating schools can download a free copy of TrackMate for use in demo mode directly from the Sports Automation website (at www.microsport.com) and use it to enter contestants. This contestant file can then be forwarded by email (derekward@katyisd.org) to submit participating schools' entries.
Entering Times - This meet will host some of the best track and field athletes in the state of Texas and the nation. A reminder to help make the invitation to this meet one that is coveted is that we are all on the same page when it comes to entries. Please do not put in times that have not been achieved this year or without FAT. Entered times will be checked through http://tx.milesplit.com/ and www.ttfca.org for accuracy. In order to ensure proper lane assignments in individual heats it is important for procedure to be followed. We all want our athletes to be rewarded for performance and given the chance to reach peak performance. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Entry Fees: $50.00per team or S100.00 if boys/girls both attend - Make checks payable to Katy Athletic Booster Club.

General Information:
- Map(s) for bus parking, campsites, and warm up area for athletes are on the last page of the packet.
- The area between Tiger Stadium and the camp area will be closed to thru traffic after 3:00p.m.
- Please remind all athletes that tape will not be allowed on the track or runways.
- Athletes may warm up ONLY outside the track facility. No athletes will be permitted on the infield for warm up. The Katy High School Practice Fields will be used for warm ups.
- Remind all athletes to stay out of baseball and tennis facilities.
Directions to Katy High School:
- I-10 exit Pin Oak Road
- Stay on the I-10 feeder road for 2.0 miles
- Take a right onto FM 1463 for approximately 0.2 of a mile
- Turn left on South Stadium Drive (on the north end of the Merrill Center and in front of Katy HS practice fields)
- Katy High School Athletic Complex is ahead on the right. Team can be dropped off in front of the Natatorium. Buses will park in the designated area.

Catering - KABC will provide outstanding hospitality for the coaches during the meet with two meals. One during the scratch meeting and one during the evening running session.

Meet Coverage - The Home of Champions Track and Field Classic will have full online coverage provided by:
Meet Shirt - Unique to the Home of Champions meet will include the school logo from each particpating school. Here is the logo and we will ask for presale #'s so we can make sure shirts for your kids are availabe at the meet. A limited # of shirts will be printed outside of presale #'s.
Gate - $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Please let your parents know that an entry fee will
Meet Entry/Security - Athletes from each school will have wristbands that will be required to enter the track complex or the throwing complex. Coaches will have passes/lanyards that will be need to be worn coming in and out of the facilities as well.
