Kennedy Asks & Milan Answers
Milan - You know, I try to focus on just getting better, track is a sport that requires a lot of hard work and training. Just to be able to compete with the fastest girls makes me feel great, I just love competition.
I train with workout variations including drills and training suggestions for different weeks, as my coach
(Collet) sets it. I train with my coach, my teammates, as well as by myself. I find that there is a need for
all, because it gives me an opportunity to learn even more about hurdling and a track athlete in general; far most it allows me to see the importance of being a great teammate.
Growing up with my dad has made me a better athlete, as well as a better person. As a mentor, I have
learned so much. He encourages me daily and what he has instilled in me from a little girl has definitely paid off. My work ethic and dedication are attributed (credited) to him.
Kennedy - what is your least favorite part about track?
My least favorite part about track, is that the season ends too fast. It seems like there are more games in other sports, like basketball, football, volley ball, etc.
My biggest obstacle is me. Sometimes, I think that I am too hard on myself, but at the same time it is good because it is only a desire to get better. My expectations for myself are very high.
Kennedy - Beyoncé or Rihanna? (This is so important) Back up your claim with evidence!
Beyoncé! First, becausue she is from Houston I am somewhat familiar with her upbringing. I know that she is passionate about work,
she is original, and most importantly her success came from hard work. I'm not saying anything against Rihanna, but I just do not know enough about her.
