The 2017 state met 4x400 relay was a dramatic ending to one of the most amazing meets ever

The 2017 5A track season was as explosive and amazing as track and field could ever get. The season started off with 41.0 4x100 relays by Fort Bend Marshall and Manvel and the season didn't slow down until 39.80 was on put on the clock.

At the state meet, the season came to the best ending anyone could have asked for. Port Arthur Memorial had one of the fastest days in history as they ran to two of the top relays times all-time.

The Manvel Mavericks executed one of the best team performances ever and demonstrated what an all around track team looks like. Manvel scored points in almost every possible way showing they are more than just the speed they are known for. They put up big points on the board with thier field events, sprints, distance, as well as some top national times in all three relays.
