On Friday, Houston Strake Jesuit ran a then US #1 3:13 in the 4x400 in the TSU Relays prelims
This weekend, the usual big time track and field meets in the state went down. I'm referring to none other than the Texas Distance Festival (TDF) and the Texas Southern University Relays (TSU Relays).
Both meets annually have national ranking implications and this weekend was no different. The TDF had you covered on the distance events. From the 800m to the 5K, the clock was under stress trying to keep up with the many PR performances on the weekend.
The TSU relays is famous for bringing the speed and the outstanding field event performances. Once again, this weekend was just another chapter of that ever going saga of the meet's history. There were so many state and national #1 ranked times and field event marks.
Take a quick look at just some of the big time performances that we have identified for your viewing pleasure.
