Hammer is another junior from The Woodlands looking to lead them to another state title. As a sophomore, he was able to make the top seven and contributed to their third consecutive UIL 6A state title.
He ran a 15:43.20 PR at the state meet for 28th place. This year, he may be counted on to be the #1 or #2 runner and believe me he is ready. Hammer was able to get his 1600m time down to a 4:19.75, which should transfer well on the cross country course.
As with his teammate Cardinal, this is probably a low ranking for Hammer, but these guys are probably more concerned with the post season accomplishments.
