1A Girls
The 1A girls 4x100 relay kicked off the Friday evening running session, which ended up being a heck of a night. The girls from Happy got a fast start and were out to an early lead. But, Lingleville's anchor had a hard push left in her and she made a push at the end, but it was to no avail. Happy got the win in 50.42 followed by Lingleville in second with a 50.76 and McLean in third with a 51.26.
1A Boys
The 1A boys 4x100 relay was a close race. First through third places were only decided by .12 seconds. Paducah powered and leaned to the win with their 43.81, followed by Garden City in second with a 43.89, and Coolidge was right there in 43.93.
