The Lovejoy Distance Festival has been providing distance runners with an early season meet of action for the last several years.
Unfortunately, it will not take place this year. A one year absence will has been decided, but will surely resume next season to supply the North Texas distance runners with the opportunity to specialize on their craft.
That is where Wylie High School has stepped in. Conner Calley, Wylie Heach Coach will facilitate a substitute meet this year on the same date as the Lovejoy meet (March 7, 2020). The location will be at Wylie Stadium (2550 FM 544, Wylie, TX 75098)
