
The Distance Medley Relay (DMR) is one of toughest yet most exciting races on the track. It has both distance and middle distance races as well as a sprint event thrown in the mix.
The DMR is the test of a real distance program. Some schools have the long distance and some have middle distance, but have you ever wondered which programs train well in both during the track season?
This year, we have a really small crop of meets than have run the DMR. Some of the big meets with the event and good weather to get good times were coming right up with the Texas Southern Relays, Victor Lopez, Jesuit-Sheaner, and of course the Texas Relays.
Since they didn't happen, let's take a look at which teams had athletes perform well enough over the spectrum of events and see who was looking good at the time the season had ended.
