The Waxahachie Woodhouse offered dramatic finishes in both varsity races on Saturday.
Nick Knight (Tyler Legacy) took the close win over a tight front pack in the boys race; Allie Love (Colleyville Heritage) and Emma Curry (Waxahachie) earned impressive speed ratings by breaking far in front of the chase pack, with Love eking out the victory.
On the girls side, even with Waxahachie taking spots 2-5, Colleyville Heritage's superior pack got them the win by a mere seven points.
