The history of Region 1 speaks for itself. That history took a little turn this week as the previous layout of the course was modified.
Brynn Brown is still on a quest for her first cross country state title had very few problems with the course. Despite the hills, tough terrain, and the West Texas winds, she was able to crank out the second fastest time at the park with her 17:08. A 17:07 from Ashton Endsley (Abilene) on the 3 mile version of the course still holds that honor.
