Dynasty McClennon won the Generations Park Summer Creek Invitational girl's 100m
Summer Creek senior Dynasty McClennon has already tasted success in track and field at the high school level. Although it seems like forever ago due to COVID-19 causing the 2020 season shutdown, it was still an accomplishment that makes her one of the best athletes in the sport this year.
Her UIL 6A 400m state championship and her 2021 TX No. 1 54.62 both help make the 400m one of her stronger events, but she made it clear it is not her only event.
McClennon also qualified for the state meet in 2019 in the 200m and is a threat for the 2021 state championship in the event. Today, she ran 24.30 to rank her TX No.3 behind Kenondra Davis (Fort Worth Trimble Tech) 24.04, Jasmine Montgomery (San Antonio Reagan) 24.24, and Hali Murphy (Austin St Dominic Savio Catholic) 24.28.
