The girls 3000m at the Ocen Breeze Elite Invitational posted some of the top times in the nation.
The whole race was a battle between Saratoga Springs (NY) Ella Kurto and Emily Bush, and Cornwall's (NY) Karrie Baloga. Kurto and Bush ran one-two for a good chunk of the race with Baloga just behind in third.
In the final lap, Kurto pulled away enough to take home first while Baloga put in a strong kick to take a very close second.
