Keaton Morrison and Greyson Gravitt had some top ranked type 800m performances this weekend
The Super Hawk Relays lived up to it's name during the girl's and boy's 800m races. It resulted in a TX No. 1 girl's ranking and a TX No.2 boy's performance.
Hebron senior Keaton Morrison dropped an impressive solo performance when she went 2:09.32. That's also the fourth fastest time nationally and follows up her 4:50.34 1,600m PR from the Texas Distance Festival that resulted in a win.

The boy's 800m was one of the fastest 800m races of the season. Marcus senior Greyson Gravitt is having an outstanding senior season. He PRed in two events during the cross country season during the fall and now added his third on the track and second PR in as many weeks. Earlier in the season, he went 9:31.70 in the 3,200m and last weekend added a a 4:19.06 in the 1,600m.
His win this weekend was personal best number three on the season and it's a TX No. 2. His 1:52.06 is over a two second improvement. He has previous marks of 1:54.87 and 1:56.32 this season.

Gravitt wasn't the only one in the boy's race to run well in Saturday's race. Hebron had a duo of half-milers who also lit up the state rankings. Seniors Isaac Barerra and Jeriel Algarin Mar catapulted themselves up the state rankings, and crashing the top 10. Barerra's 1:53.23 ranks him TX No. 3 adn Algarin Mar checks in at No. 8 with his 1:54.21.
Barerra now holds the Hebron school record, but now more rides on the season for the two seniors. Possible state meet berths look more reasonable after this weekend.
