The Woodlands goes 1, 2, 3 in the boy's 800m at UIL District 13-14 6A Area Championships
The Woodlands senior Joshua English continues to have an excellent 2021 track and field season. His 1:50.52 helped him claim the area championship title and the TX No. 2 ranking.
The Oklahoma State University signee was joined on the awards stand and advancing to the Region 2-6A Championships by his teammates Kyle Easton and Ryan Tresaugue. The Highlanders swept the top three finishes in the event with Easton finishing second in 1:54.00 and Tresaugue third in 1:56.95.
Conroe junior James McDonald also qualified for regionals with his fourth place finish in 1:58.48.
