Aubrey O'Connell (8) is the top combined returning distance runner from last track season
This past spring,
Prosper senior Aubrey O'Connell won her first state title on the track in her new found fondness of the 800m. But, let's not forget that she won her first UIL 6A state title in cross country in her sophomore year.
It's also important not to overlook that despite her outstanding season in the 800m that she also had a career type of season in the 1,600m and the 3,200m. O'Connell is the top combined distance runner from this past track season in the distance events. Her 4:49.09 PR in the 1,600m and 10:24.30 in he 3,200m give her a combined time of 15:13.39, which is over 5 seconds faster than the next fastest girl.
