TAPPS All-State Third Team

21 Brett Koehn (Houston St. Thomas)

Koehn raced in some tough and competitive races early going 17:01 at Brenham dnd 16:31 at Texas A&M finished 0th at the TAPPS 6A state meet.


20 Bernard Martinez (El Paso Cathedral)

Martinez started the season off fast going for two sub 17 minute runs. The junior finished strong with a ninth place finish at the TAPPS 6A state meet.


19 Reagan Layh (Midland Classical Academy)

Layh had big performances all season long out west going 16:22 and 16:59. He finished third at the TAPPS 3A state meet.


18 Isaac Cupp (Weatherford Christian Academy)

The Weatherford Christian junior had a good season finishing as the TAPPS 2A state meet runner-up. Cupp, PRed at 16:31.


17 Elija Noble (El Paso Cathedral)

Cathedral junior was consistent this season running in the mid 17s for 5k on the various El Paso terrain courses. He had a PR of 16:50 and then his second fastest time of the year (17:08) came at the state meet for eighth place.


16 Andrew Rivas (San Antonio Central Catholic)

Sophomore Rivas was the seventh overall finisher at the TAPPS 6A state meet. He had a 16:46 PR and often crossed the line as a duo with teammate Noah Fernandez.


15 Noah Fernandez (San Antonio Central Catholic)

Fernandez was a dependable runner for Central Catholic as they won the TAPPS 6A state championship.The sophomore was frequently within seconds of teammate Rivas, which was huge for the team. He finished sixth place overall at the state meet.
