RunningLane Nationals Texas Boys Results Merge

Ruben Rojas Betanzos competes at the Garmin RunningLane Cross Country Championships

The Garmin RunningLane Cross Country Championships was an extraordinary event that had the best performers throughout the country. 

Saying the competition was elite would be a gross understatement. There was a national record in the boys competition and we witnessed one of the best teams in high school cross country history.

Some of Texas' best were are also on display to take on the national level running. Amongst the Texas teams were the UIL 5A team champions Grapevine along with the top four UIL 6A teams (Southlake Carroll, The Woodlands, El Paso Eastwood, and Atascocita). Coach Hill from Arlington Sam Houston also took his team to RunningLane to compete at the highest level.

There were also several individual Texas runners who competed like Ruben Rojas Betanzos (Katy Seven Lakes) and UIL 1A state champion Brandon Passmann (Guthrie). Syracuse commit Betanzos and Alabama commit Passmann both PRed.
