2016 Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic Girl's 60m Final
This week, we are running five highlight videos from past Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic meets as a countdown to this year's event.
Highlight number four showcases the girls 60m final from the 2016 meet. Six girls entered the finals by registering times under 7.71 including Kaylor Harris (Mesquite Horn) who ran 7.58 in the prelims and Samiyah Samuels (Cypress Springs) who ran 7.59.
When they all lined up face to face in one heat, they exhibited what the fans thought would happen with them all in one race. Not only did the Harris/Samuels match-up entertain the fans, but the top four girls were only separated by 0.22 seconds as they all ran 7.62 and under.
