It's Tasty Race Tuesday 2.22.22. That means we have another delightful race that went down this weekend for your viewing pleasure.

Last week, we featured a 300 meter hurdle race, well here we are again with another race from that event.

This time around, the boys provided the excitement in the 3/4 lap race with barriers. Cedar Park senior Nicholas Grullon who already had competed in a full slate of field events on the day by time the hurdles came around, graced the track for one final competition this past Saturday at the Lake Travis Invitational.

He had fellow hurdler Micah Gifford from Pflugerville Weiss waiting for him. The two clashed as Gifford got out to an early lead in the first 200m with Grullon coming on strong coming off the curve.

The home stretch would see Grullon pull along side of Gifford at hurdle six and then take the lead coming off of hurdle seven. But, with one hurdle remaining before the final couple of strided preceding the finish line, Gifford and Grullon were stride for stride and they'd finish in a 38.43 tie.
