At the 2022 UIL State Track & Field Meet, Kailey Littlefield dug deep down the last 100 of her trademark race, the 800, and pulled away from Cedar Park's Isabel Conde De Frankenberg to capture her second-consecutive 5A state title in a time of 2:06.21, the fifth-fastest time in Texas history.
Acutely aware of the possibility of winning four straight UIL 800-meter races and the time it'll take to qualify for the Olympic Trials, Kailey and Coach-Mom Carli Littlefield have a well-planned itinerary to provide Kailey the opportunity to achieve her goals. She'll compete in three national-caliber meets this summer and then prepare for XC season prior to the start of her junior track season.
