One Year At 400m Christine Mallard Runs TX No. 2 A-T 52.12

On June 15th at Brooks PR, Christine Mallard of Mansfield Legacy rose to #2 on the all-time Texas high school 400-meter list, clocking an impressive 52.12. Eager to continue competing, Mallard headed east to Philly and the New Balance Nationals where she ran the 100 (11.69) and 200 (23.53) finishing 3rd and 2nd respectively.

Mallard, a USC signee, has her sights set on the all-time collegiate 400m time of 49.68 by A&M's Athing Mu. Engaging, energetic and relatively new to the event, there's no doubt she'll make a valiant chase toward the top of the ladder.
