University of Houston commit Genesis Griffin poses with Carl Lewis at a home visit
Fort Bend Marshall senior Genesis Griffin is off to a good start to the 2023 outdoor track and field season. This past weekend at the Buffalo Relays, she produced the state's best outdoor long jump performance with her 19-0 distance. That is over a foot beyond where she opened up last year at the same meet.
Griffin went on to jump 19-4 last year and finish third at the UIL 5A state track and field meet.
