This was perhaps the hardest week to make the Performer of the Week Poll. It was the first significantly warm weekend across most of the state for outdoor track and field and then it was the weekend of national indoor track and field with several Texans competing at New Balance Indoor Nationals and at Nike Indoor Nationals.

In saying that, many superb runs, jumps, and throws were omitted from the poll because of the level of big time performances that exceeded them.
